Jim Burns - THE STAINLESS STEEL RAT GETS DRAFTED

Harry Harrison's "Stainless Steel Rat" series is one of my favorites. And Jim Burns is one of my favorite artists. So picking up this painting when it became available was a no-brainer! This image was used for the wrap-around cover of both the 1987 Bantam hardcover & the 1988 paperback.

I came oooohh so close to buying this. Cutting Edge also was a finalist, but I ended up with a couple of others instead. JB is one of my favorites, too. Excellent choices. R Ayers
