Hi All --
I'm thrilled to finally get some of my pieces uploaded and with the help of Pat - I'm now a registered member and my gallery is all set up. I also purchased a piece already via the "for sale gallery" on this site --

I'm an avid non-sport trading card collector and "Fantasy Art" enthusiast and I started collecting original art about 10 years ago mainly via eBay (is that a bad word?).
My favorite Fantasy Artist is Keith Parkinson and I begged, borrowed, etc to get one of his originals and the piece "Charlemagne's Champion" is the one true (expensive) gem in my collection. I hope to own another one of his pieces someday.
Besides being in awe of other collectors I've seen on this site, I'm really HOPING that some of you will help identify some of the artists/pieces that I have.
Looking forward to sharing my finds and I might actually sell/trade something in the future. I sold a "Cleavenger" recently and wish I had waited to list it here...oh well...

Welcome, Mike.
That Parkinson piece is wonderful. Congratulations.
Sorry I can't help you out with your unknowns.
By the way, gems don't necessarily translate to expensive. There are a few in my collection that probably wouldn't get a second look by some, but I wouldn't trade them for anything. All in the eye of the beholder.
Welcome again. Ray. |

AGREED! That's why I posted many pieces I have that I bought just because I liked them...
Thanks for the welcome and I see we are neighbors -- maybe we can do a trade someday...

Hi Mike,
Happy to see you've joined our fun little crowd of art lovers. It's always great to see anothers treasures of fine art. Hope you enjoy your stay and look forward to seeing new things as you feed the art monkey on your back. He's relentless when it comes to gathering new art bananas.
Kind regards, Dan _________________ Dan Fowlkes
